We are excited to announce the 15 Black-led startups based in Portugal that Djassi Africa and Startup Portugal are taking to Web Summit in Lisbon.
This initiative is aligned to Djassi Africa's Afropreneurs agenda to level the playing field for underrepresented and underserved founders across Europe, and it´s being enabled by the strategic partnership with Startup Portugal to promote and drive more diversity and equity in the Portuguese startup ecosystem.
During 8 weeks, these 15 tech-enabled startups will benefit from Djassi Africa’s STAGE-X programme (8-week intensive readiness programme), Startup Portugal’s R2WS programme (bootcamps, financial prizes, etc.), and Web Summit’s ALPHA & BETA Startup programmes (exhibition during the summit, investor meetings, etc.).
